Nomadic Years 1947-73

After the Second World War we were unable to remain in the Athenaeum Institute

theatre and began the “Nomadic Wanderings” around various theatres and other venues in Manchester.

But we never stopped performing a full programme of plays and revues.

Whether at the School of Building, Adult Education, Birchfields Bus Depot Theatre

or various halls in central Manchester ~ the show must – and did – go on.
